Jeon Mi-do

Jeon Mi-do is a South Korean actress and singer, born on August 4, 1982. She made her acting debut in the musical Mr. Mouse in 2006, showcasing her talent in the ensemble cast. Over the years, Jeon gained recognition through notable performances in various musicals, including Doctor Zhivago and Maybe Happy Ending. Her stage work earned her acclaim, including the Best Actress Award at the 9th The Musical Awards and consecutive wins at the Korean Musical Awards in 2017 and 2018. Transitioning to television, Jeon made her debut in the 2018 series Mother, followed by her breakout role as Dr. Chae Song-hwa in the hit medical drama Hospital Playlist in 2020. During the audition for Hospital Playlist, she initially believed she would be cast as a patient, but director Shin Won-ho recognized her potential for the lead role, stating that she was destined to play Song-hwa. Her performance in the series garnered her a nomination for Best New Actress at the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards. Jeon continues to impress audiences with her versatility, recently appearing in the series Thirty-Nine alongside stars Son Ye-jin and Kim Ji-hyun.
