Kim Nam-gil

Kim Nam-gil is a prominent South Korean actor, producer, singer, and philanthropist, born on March 13, 1980. He made his acting debut after several attempts, first enrolling in acting programs in 1999 and 2001 before finally succeeding as part of MBC's talent recruitment in 2007. Kim gained widespread recognition for his compelling portrayal of Bidam, a Silla politician, in the historical drama "Queen Seondeok" (2009), which marked his breakthrough role. Over the years, Kim has demonstrated remarkable versatility, starring in a range of genres from period dramas like "Portrait of a Beauty" (2008) to adventure films such as "The Pirates" (2014) and the disaster blockbuster "Pandora" (2016). His talent further shone through in the crime thriller "Memoir of a Murderer" (2017) and the popular television series "The Fiery Priest" (2019). Beyond his acting career, Kim is the founder and CEO of Gilstory, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving cultural heritage and promoting the arts. In 2021, he expanded his influence in the entertainment industry by launching Gilstory ENT, a comprehensive entertainment company.
