Oh Man-seok

Oh Man-seok is a prominent South Korean actor, born on January 30, 1975. He attended Seoul Yeong-dong High School and later pursued a major in theatre at the Korea National University of Arts. He made his acting debut in 1999 with a performance in the play "Faust," swiftly establishing his presence in the theatre scene. Oh is particularly well-known for his role as Jang Taek Gi in the popular drama "The Vineyard Man," which garnered him significant recognition. Throughout his career, Oh has demonstrated versatility across various mediums, including theatre, television, and film. His portrayal of the titular transgender singer in the rock musical "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" is among his most celebrated performances. In 2009, he starred in the Korean drama "Jolly Widows," which not only captivated audiences in Korea but also reached viewers in North America. Despite his professional successes, Oh's personal life includes a marriage to Jo Sang Kyung, with whom he shares a daughter, though they divorced after six years.
