A beautiful red lighthouse, like one of those commonly seen in Kdramas. A nice place to take photos, with the fishing boats and anglers completing the scenery. It is located at the end of the coastal walk. The haenyeo museum is just nearby too. This place is accessible by public bus from the city areas. Admission is free.

When you arrive at Yeongdo Haenyeocheon (Yeongdo Women Divers Village), the first thing you'll see is this red lighthouse and fishing port. The area around the port has been newly renovated and is very beautiful. First, walk along the embankment to the lighthouse to feel the sea breeze before heading to the Women Divers Cultural Exhibition Center! If you're coming by bus from Nampo, Jagalchi, or Bupyeong, bus number 113 is convenient, with departures every seven minutes. On the way back, there will be many number 113 buses waiting in the parking lot at the bus stop.

A typical red lighthouse! It looks alright for photos from afar, but it's not that special up close. However, it's quite nice to stroll along the fishing harbor, enjoy the sea breeze, and relax.
