It tastes just like the tteokbokki from the school snack bar I used to eat as a child. It's especially delicious when you mix it with seaweed powder and rice. 🙂 I can't say much because I don't know the details of the operation, but I wish they had kept the old building and remodeled it. The owner was so kind that I had a great time eating there!!

I took the kids to Haemi Fortress and was hungry, so I searched for a good restaurant nearby and went here for a quick snack before dinner. I don't know if they moved to a new building after filming the drama Reply 1988, or if they've just built a new building, but it's not the same as before. The interior isn't spacious, but it's clean. The kitchen, which is visible from the outside, is hygienic, and the male owner and the grandmother who cooks and serves are especially friendly. Watching them treat the customers made me feel really good. I bowed 90 degrees to the grandmother before leaving. Haha The Chungcheong dialect is also delicious. After waiting for about 15 minutes, I went in and tried the only dish, tteokbokki. It looks and tastes like instant tteokbokki. The taste isn't particularly special, but it's quite good because it goes down smoothly. Personally, I think it would taste even better if it was a little more spicy. It's not spicy at all, so even young children can enjoy it. You can mix rice with it after you're almost done eating, which is quite tasty. As of March 30, 2024, tteokbokki costs 12,000 won for two, which is very affordable compared to current prices. I highly recommend it if you're visiting Haemi Fortress.

Brazil Tteokbokki is a place located 5 minutes from Haemi Fortress. It features tteokbokki as a single dish. The taste is on a whole different level compared to the tteokbokki found elsewhere. It has a natural and mild spiciness, a refreshing flavor reminiscent of anchovy broth, and a great texture thanks to the fresh rice cakes. You can only truly appreciate the taste by mixing the rice with the generous amount of seaweed flakes at the end. It is even good for a hangover cure. The price is 5,000 won. The price is truly reasonable. Lastly, the owner is incredibly kind and gentle.
