Beautiful any time of year. Great facilities, movie memorabilia scattered throughout, fun sculptures and interactive facilities and activities, not to mention the views. The wild animals roaming the island just round off the entire experience.
One of the most famous tourist attraction in Seoul because a lot of Korean dramas and movies were shot here. It's a bit far from Seoul but you'd have many options of transportation from guided bus tours to subways. Anyway, for those taking the subway or KTX, it's a bus and a ferry away from Gapyeong Station. It's not a big island but it gets very packed with tourists so might as well go early to beat the crowd. I was there last winter and most tress have no leaves; it's still beautiful but I'm looking forward to coming back during autumn or spring.
All seasons are beautiful there. And it's easy to get there by train.
My favorite place visit every year with my family. So many things to do!
