Being a K-drama fan, going to Yeouido Hangang Park for a Han River picnic was always on my list 🥹 And wow, this place was packed even on a weekday around 5–6 PM. You can rent picnic mats, tables for setups and even tents there. We picked a spot and just sat down enjoying the vibe. There are so many food options around — you can either order from nearby outlets or grab food directly from the eateries and tents inside the park. There’s also a floating Starbucks and a CU convenience store which was super packed because everyone was getting ramen and drinks. We did the same It was honestly such a fun yet peaceful experience with the river view, cool breeze and the whole atmosphere. So many couples, groups of friends and such young happy energy everywhere. Everyone was just having a good time 🤍

Yeouido Hangang Park is one of the best places to experience spring in Seoul. What I liked most was that it was not just about cherry blossoms. The park combines the soft beauty of the flowers with the open view of the Han River, so the whole experience feels much more complete than a typical flower-viewing spot. During cherry blossom season, the paths are lined with beautiful trees and the atmosphere is lively but still relaxing. It is a great place for a slow walk, photos, or simply sitting by the river and enjoying the breeze. I also liked that you could feel both the seasonal excitement and a more local side of Seoul at the same time, with people walking, chatting, and spending time outdoors. A few things I would recommend: come a little earlier if you want a calmer experience allow enough time to walk around instead of treating it as a quick photo stop combine the cherry blossom area with some time by the Han River for the full experience Overall, this is a very memorable place to visit in spring. If you are in Seoul during cherry blossom season, Yeouido Hangang Park is definitely worth adding to your itinerary.

Beautiful and relaxing place to catch the last peak of cherry blossoms in Seoul. There were cherry blossom trees lining the park roads. Inside the park, there were bike rental shops, tent and mat rentals, and food stalls. There were many young people relaxing and enjoying ramyeon by the river. It would be romantic if you came with a plus one.

I love Korea especially Public area. They intentionally make for people to enjoy public area. Yeouido has a very spacious route for running along the Han river. After running, you can take a rest on the bank. There are convenient stores and restaurant.

Yeouido sits by the Han River and is one of three public parks that makes up Hangang Park. This park is accessible by the Seoul Metro and serves as the place where you can ride on a river boat for a cruise. During winter, a snow sled area gets set up from mid December to February
