It’ll take 10 mins from the harbor of Geoje to here and will take around 2 hours to walk, take photo and relax. Remember that you come here and get back to land by the same boat. The boat will wait 2 hours for you. The drop off and get on place are different so make sure you can walk for a long distance.
It is a small island in Busan. It is famous for its Korean drama background area. It is a good hiking area.
it is a great tourist spot. i just wonder how they brought so many building materials to the island to build and decorate them. it is a very good walking course. however, there are many stairs, so it will not be easy for people with disabilities to explore the island.
About 30 minutes from Geoje, the winter camellias were beautiful, but here and there, the hydrangeas were just so-so... The botanical garden is as poorly maintained as it used to be... The islands visible nearby are a comfort. It's hard not to feel like it's worse than the nearby latitudes. This place needs more thorough management, rather than being forgotten as a drama filming location.
Jangsado is lovely during the camellia season, but it is also incredibly beautiful during the hydrangea season. In fact, the island itself is so beautifully decorated that it would be a shame to skip visiting it during your Tongyeong trip just because it is far away or there are many other places to see! I recommend eating beforehand as the Chungmu Gimbap isn't particularly good. Since it takes about two hours to walk around the entire island and you have to deal with the boat schedule, I highly recommend exploring Jangsado as long as you manage your time well :) You can make many wonderful memories there.
