Namkoong Min

Namkoong Min, born on March 12, 1978, is a prominent South Korean actor, director, and screenwriter. He first gained widespread recognition for his role in the neo-noir film A Dirty Carnival in 2006. Over the years, he has showcased his versatility in various television dramas, including Remember (2015-2016), Beautiful Gong Shim (2016), Good Manager (2017), Hot Stove League (2019-2020), and more recently, My Dearest in 2023.

Throughout his career, Namkoong Min has garnered numerous accolades for his performances. He won the Grand Prize (Daesang) at the 2020 SBS Drama Awards for his role in Hot Stove League, which also earned him a third Best Actor nomination at the Baeksang Arts Awards. The following year, he received the Grand Prize at the 2021 MBC Drama Awards for his work in The Veil. Continuing his success, he once again took home the Grand Prize at the 2023 MBC Drama Awards for his performance in My Dearest, solidifying his status as one of Korea's leading actors.
