Kim Sae-ron

Kim Sae-ron was a talented South Korean actress known for her impactful performances from a young age. Born on July 31, 2000, she began her career as a child model in 2001 before transitioning to acting in 2009 with her debut in the film A Brand New Life. She rose to fame with her role in The Man from Nowhere in 2010, which garnered her a nomination for Best New Actress at the Baeksang Arts Awards. Throughout her career, she starred in several notable films, including A Girl at My Door, Snow Road, and Barbie, and made her mark in television with roles in series such as Listen to My Heart and The Queen's Classroom.

As she matured, Kim continued to evolve as an actress, taking on more significant roles, including her first adult lead in the series Secret Healer in 2016. Despite her promising trajectory, her career faced challenges following a drunk driving incident in 2022, which resulted in public backlash and legal issues. This incident affected her involvement in several productions. Tragically, on February 16, 2025, Kim's life ended abruptly when she was found deceased at her home in Seoul. The police ruled her death a suicide, leaving behind a legacy of both talent and the struggles she faced in the public eye.
