Lee Mi-sook

Lee Mi-sook is a prominent South Korean actress, widely recognized for her contributions to the film and television industry. Born on April 2, 1960, she made her acting debut on June 17, 1978, after winning the Popularity Award at the Miss Lotte and TBC Talent Contest. Lee quickly established herself as one of the leading actresses of the 1980s, starring in notable films such as Whale Hunting and The Winter That Year Was Warm, as well as Mulberry and Eunuch. After marrying in 1987, Lee retired from film but continued to engage with audiences through television dramas, including How's Your Husband? in 1993. Her return to the silver screen came a decade later with the acclaimed film An Affair, which marked a successful comeback. Since then, she has remained a dynamic presence in both film and television, taking on diverse roles in projects like Solitude, Untold Scandal, and the upcoming Queen of Tears, showcasing her versatility and enduring appeal in the entertainment industry.
